In 2010, more than a century after Luxardo Limoncello was first launched in 1906, the sixth generation of the Luxardo family introduced a new handsome looking bottle housing a new even more ‘lemony’ recipe.
Containing even more fresh lemon juice, approximately 25 percent more than previously, and even more oils squeezed from the peel of Sicilian lemons, it’s retained its languid infusion process that gets the most out of each piece of fruit – including not only the juice but the peel and the pulp too.
So, it’s no surprise that the aroma is intensely lemony, the palate is zesty and with a clean lined citrus sweetness with a lovely gentle tart finish.
