Kyrö Malt Oloroso is an inspirational example of the possibilities of different cask finishes. It is also a perfect example of how versatile rye is as a grain. The sweet sherry and Finnish rye are indeed a perfect match.

The Oloroso sherry cask finish gives the whisky rich and mellow character. This whisky is full and rich, just like the sherry which it carries memories of.

Kyrö Malt Oloroso is the first Finnish single batch rye whisky, made from 100% malted Finnish wholegrain rye.

It is double pot-distilled and aged in three barrel types: Oloroso sherry, new American oak & ex-bourbon.

Nose: nuts, dried fruits and caramel
Taste: Sweet rye bread, honey, raisins and nuts with a peppery finish • non-smoky
