In The Loop are a small, solar-powered winery in Uckfield, East Sussex and they have two product ranges: the English Vermouth range which was launched first in June 2020 and the Ready to Drink (RTD) cocktail range which followed in May 2021.
It was founded by Gnina Balchin, who has a BSc in Food science and nutrition from the University of Reading and an MSc in Oenology and Viticulture from Plumpton college, as well as years of experience developing food products followed by working in the English wine industry.
It is this fusion of flavour chemistry and oenological science that has allowed the creation of a range of exceptionally well balanced Vermouths under the ‘In the loop’ brand.
Everything is made on site in Uckfield using English wine, predominantly fresh botanicals they grow ourselves or forage for, and spirits from local distilleries.
They were the first producer of an all-English Vermouth made exclusively from English wine and only English botanicals, evoking the heady notes of the perfect English garden.
They are 100% committed to sustainability and all of their products are created in line with advancing a circular economy (see more on their ‘Sustainability’ page) about this.
Everything is gluten free and Vegan.
