All hail, the world’s first Pure Milk Vodka – Black Cow Vodka made entirely from milk sourced from grass-fed cows that surround the distillery.
To be specific, it’s made from whey. Alongside curds, whey is what is left over from milk when you make cheese.
When sipped alongside grainier vodkas made from potato, wheat, rye or other less fluid fermentables, it delivers an exceptionally smooth and creamy character.
Sip neat over ice, sip neat or mix it in a long drink or cocktail.
They make their vodka in Childhay, near Beaminster.
In Dorset? OK, we will. It’s a beautiful place to live and lovely at this time of year.
