An Armagnac that exhibits a light-hearted maturity and a sophisticated fusion of wood and fruit. Rich and dynamic with hints of sweet spices and vanilla, this VSOP combines the freshness of a VS with the piquancy of a XO.
CHARACTER
The eau-de-vie and the wood form an expressive blend in which each has its place and unfolds in beautiful, youthful harmony. There are aromas of apricot, caramel, vanilla, orange peel, sweet spices like cinnamon and caramelised fruits.

Bas-Armagnac and Ténarèze.
TERMINOLOGY AND AGE
VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale), the youngest Armagnac in the blend, is no younger than Compte 4, meaning it is aged for at least four years. This expression matures for an average of six.
TASTING NOTES
Light amber colour. Delicate, spicy nose. Aromas of apricot, caramel, vanilla, orange peel, sweet spices like cinnamon and caramelised fruits. A very smooth and rich texture coats the mouth. Full-bodied, fresh and fruity with a slight hint of ginger
